We are pleased to be able to
offer these fine hand made pipe banners to our
customers. (Scroll down to see examples)
For hundreds of years banners have been carried by pipers
to display crest
of their Clan Chiefs, Lairds and latterly, Regimental Officers.
Our banners are of the swallow tail variety and can be made
from any base
materials including tartans, finished with gold or silver
fringes and are
complete with tapes for attaching to the bass drone.
The crest itself is usually heavily embroidered and can be
finished with gold or silver threads.
Banners can also be made with different
crests on either side.
A Pipe Banner also makes an excellent prize for competing
pipers or bands
and is an equally fine gift for a Pipe Major or band official.
Pricing usually starts at about
£120 but is heavily dependent on the amount
of work involved. Customers need to have suitable art work prepared.
